Legal &
Risk Disclosure

Document version 1.0 · 25 August 2026 · General pre-contract information

Important: This document is a structured draft for member information. It is not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal advice and must be reviewed and approved by qualified counsel before being treated as final production legal documentation. Where this disclosure conflicts with a signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.

1. Service status and scope

AureusNodes is presented as a private membership and blockchain-infrastructure service. Unless expressly confirmed in binding documentation, it is not represented as a bank, deposit-taker, cryptocurrency exchange, broker, investment manager, insurer, custodian, tax adviser, or law firm. Website content is general information and does not consider an individual’s objectives, financial position, tax status, risk tolerance, or jurisdiction.

The identity, registered address, company number, governing law, regulatory status, and formal contact details of the contracting operator must be inserted into the final member agreement before commercial launch. Nothing in this draft should be used to imply an authorisation, licence, registration, partnership, or regulatory approval that has not been formally obtained.

2. Eligibility, identity and account review

Access may be limited to adults with legal capacity in supported jurisdictions. AureusNodes may require identity, address, source-of-funds, sanctions, fraud, eligibility, and enhanced due-diligence checks before or after account opening, payment, activation, withdrawal, swap, or reward fulfilment. A submitted application does not guarantee acceptance. Service may be refused, restricted, or suspended where checks cannot be completed or risk is unacceptable.

3. Infrastructure services

Node roles differ between networks. A full node, validator, oracle node, RPC service, or other infrastructure role may have distinct hardware, collateral, availability, election, bonding, slashing, governance, and software requirements. Purchasing a plan does not itself mean a node is active, validating, eligible for rewards, or continuously profitable.

Provisioning and activation may depend on confirmed payment, verification, network compatibility, third-party hosting, software availability, and technical configuration. Maintenance may involve upgrades, restarts, migration, replacement, or temporary interruption. Protocol rules may change without AureusNodes controlling them.

4. Digital assets and network-reward risks

Network rewards, projections, annualised figures, market values, and dashboard estimates are not guarantees. Past or simulated performance does not predict future results.

5. Payments, wallets and swaps

Members must follow the payment instructions shown through authenticated workflows and verify address, network, asset, amount, and reference. Blockchain transfers may be irreversible. Sending the wrong asset, using an unsupported network, or entering an incorrect address may result in permanent loss. Confirmation times vary.

Swap quotations may change before execution and may include spread, network fees, provider charges, price movement, or liquidity effects. The completed swap record governs the posted transaction. The exchanged amount should be deducted from the originating available balance while the transaction remains in history for audit and reconciliation.

6. Fees, costs and tax

Infrastructure, hosting, maintenance, transaction, network, swap, payment, delivery, insurance, registration, professional, and other fees may apply where disclosed. Members are responsible for obtaining advice about tax, reporting, ownership, benefits, disposals, rewards, and cross-border obligations. AureusNodes does not promise any particular tax treatment.

7. AureusPoints

AureusPoints are internal programme units, not money, deposits, securities, cryptocurrency, transferable property, or a guaranteed store of value. Points cannot be treated as posted until recorded in the points ledger. Estimated, pending, reversed, expired, cancelled, or disputed points are not redeemable. Programme rules and future requirements may change prospectively, subject to applicable law and confirmed redemptions.

8. Travel rewards

Travel redemption requires sufficient points, the applicable active-node tier, account good standing, verification, inventory, jurisdictional eligibility, and written approval. Destination cards are catalogue descriptions rather than confirmed bookings. Dates, accommodation, room type, guests, flights, transfers, meals, taxes, visas, insurance, deposits, and incidentals are included only if expressly stated in final confirmation. Members should not purchase non-refundable arrangements before written confirmation.

9. Vehicle rewards

Vehicle images and values may be illustrative or market references. Make, model, year, specification, condition, mileage, location, inspection, ownership history, delivery, registration, taxes, insurance, licence eligibility, and local compliance must be confirmed. Reaching a points threshold does not guarantee a particular vehicle.

10. Property rewards

Property catalogue content is not a valuation, investment recommendation, title report, survey, or promise of transfer. Any fulfilment requires separate binding documents, identity and eligibility review, title and encumbrance checks, valuation or survey where appropriate, insurance, taxes, fees, source-of-funds checks, jurisdictional compliance, and independent legal and tax advice. Indicative prices and availability may change.

11. Security, confidentiality and service availability

Members must protect passwords, email accounts, devices, recovery information, private keys, and one-time codes. AureusNodes support should never require a password, recovery phrase, or private key. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported promptly. Administrative, technical, and organisational controls reduce but cannot eliminate risk. No internet, hosting, storage, blockchain, or security system is guaranteed uninterrupted or completely secure.

Team discretion may support privacy and operational security but does not replace required corporate, contractual, regulatory, or counterparty disclosure. Material actions should follow role-based access, approval, and audit-record procedures.

12. Third-party services

The service may depend on networks, hosting providers, payment processors, liquidity providers, identity services, communications systems, insurers, travel suppliers, vehicle suppliers, property professionals, and other independent parties. Their terms, availability, failures, and decisions may affect service. A link, catalogue entry, or integration does not by itself constitute endorsement or control.

13. Liability, records and complaints

Mandatory consumer rights and liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected. Any exclusions, limitations, indemnities, refund rights, cooling-off rights, dispute process, and liability cap must be stated in the final jurisdiction-specific agreement. Members should retain transaction confirmations and promptly report discrepancies through authenticated support. Formal complaint contact details and escalation timelines must be inserted before launch.

14. Changes and governing terms

Networks, services, laws, suppliers, rewards, and risk can change. Material contractual changes should be communicated as required by applicable law. A confirmed transaction or redemption remains subject to its written confirmation and applicable agreement. The final document must identify the contracting party, governing law, courts or dispute forum, effective date, and precedence among legal documents.

Required pre-launch legal completion: add the contracting entity and address; confirm jurisdiction and governing law; complete regulatory analysis; insert formal notices and complaints contacts; review consumer cancellation and refund rights; validate privacy roles and international transfers; confirm custody, payment, rewards, tax, promotions, sanctions, and financial-promotion treatment; and obtain written approval from qualified counsel.
